Educational Initiative :

Literacy in India is key for socio-economic progress. Save the Life has done its efforts to aware poor communities about the importance of child education and literacy. STL has organized various educational campaigns. Save the Life works at grass root level to promote education among the under-privileged people .
Save the Life also look after  the problems faced by poor communities like lack of school,, education & medical facilities. STL has a team of core volunteers they work in slum areas, distribute books, pencil, eraser etc & also some refreshments to the poor children and encourage them to go to school. The ultimate goal of organizing such campaigns is to support government’s educational initiatives and to support poor students for education.

Equality Initiative :

Despite many advancements, There are many problems still remain which inhibit these new rights and opportunities from being fully taken advantage of. For example there is Gender discrimination at all level. Specially in rural areas there are no equal rights to women. They even can’t decide any thing because they are women. Save the Life aims to trained poor communities about gender equality. There are also many traditions and customs that have been a huge part of India and its people for hundreds of years. Religious laws and expectations, or “personal laws” enumerated by each specific religion, often conflict with the Indian Constitution, eliminating rights and powers women legally should have Gender equality is one of the important factor for social development and social justice.
STL understands the necessity of gender education and to aware women about their rights. AES organizes training camps for women groups to trained them about various laws and acts like fundamental rights, violence against women act, Child Marriage Act etc.

Empowerment Initiative :

social discrimination processes have excluded from decision-making processes through discrimination based on disability, race, ethnicity, religion, or gender. Empowerment as a methodology is often associated with feminism: see consciousness-raising. Empowerment is a process of obtaining basic opportunities for marginalized people, either directly by those people, or through the help of non-marginalized others who share their own access to opportunities.
Save the Life has a very clear vision on Social Empowerment. To empower poor communities, STL aims to organize self employment and Paralegal training and support people for empowerment. Our empowerment strategy is to assist marginalized people to bring them out of discrimination and to trained them according to their skills and interest.People, who get trained by us will trained other people in their communities.
